All about Huw….
Huw is a baker and cake decorator with a lifelong passion for the craft. His journey into the wonderful world of flour and sugar began when he was a very young, baking with his grandparents. Over eighteen years ago, Huw met Gilly on his very first baking course at the age of 11, and what started as a childhood hobby has evolved into a career, though Huw has never forgotten his roots! Or Gilly, for that matter.
Today, he remains a steadfast supporter of Gilly’s ventures and is a frequent visitor to Malton, and in the past has lent his expertise at the Malton Food Festivals – both behind the scenes, and on the demo stage. Whether Huw is perfecting a baking recipe or supporting the local food community, he brings years of experience and a genuine love for the art of baking to everything he does.
